Initialement con\u00e7u comme ouvrage d\u00e9fensif, il s&rsquo;est transform\u00e9 au XVI si\u00e8cle en une demeure seigneuriale o\u00f9 il fait bon vivre, et devient un marquisat en 1612.<br \/>En 1789, le ch\u00e2teau est pill\u00e9 par les r\u00e9volutionnaires de Cajarc mais reste tr\u00e8s peu endommag\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa cave bien fournie en vin de Cahors.<\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9volution la noblesse est remplac\u00e9e par la finance : Louis Naurissart, banquier (Directeur de la monnaie \u00e0 Limoges) et politicien (maire et d\u00e9put\u00e9 de Limoges) rach\u00e8te le ch\u00e2teau. Depuis le ch\u00e2teau est rest\u00e9 dans la famille qui continue \u00e0 participer \u00e0 son entretien pour pr\u00e9senter un \u00e9difice en excellent \u00e9tat. <br \/>Mr et Mme Guy de Braquilanges avec leurs six enfants sont les actuels descendants.<\/p><p>Le ch\u00e2teau de C\u00e9nevi\u00e8res est <strong>class\u00e9 Monument Historique<\/strong> depuis d\u00e9cembre 1957. Pr\u00e9voyez au moins 2h de visite guid\u00e9e, tant l&rsquo;histoire est riche &#8230; Beaucoup ont parl\u00e9 d&rsquo;y revenir.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div A partir de Cajarc, le Lot devient tr\u00e8s sinueux avec ses m\u00e9andres et ses boucles. Notamment \u00e0 Cahors o\u00f9 la rivi\u00e8re effectue une grande boucle transformant la ville en presqu&rsquo;ile.<\/p><p>Le lot est navigable sur 297km. Nous embarquons sur le Valentr\u00e9, un bateau \u00e9cole panoramique avec un \u00e9quipage f\u00e9minin fort sympathique, Carla la pilote et une guide future pilote. La promenade fut anim\u00e9e par de nombreuses explications tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressantes sur Cahors et sur la navigation son nom \u00e0 une r\u00e9surgence calcaire (fontaine des chartreux) qui fut autrefois le lieu de culte de la d\u00e9esse celtique Divona.\u00a0 Une ville fut fond\u00e9e \u00e0 la fin du Ier si\u00e8cle avant J.-C sous le r\u00e8gne de l&#8217;empereur Auguste et s&rsquo;appela Divona Cadurcorum, soit aujourd&rsquo;hui Cahors. Cette source alimente toujours la ville en eau potable.<\/p><p>D\u00e9truites lors des invasions, Cahors connaitra son \u00e2ge d&rsquo;or du XII au XIVe si\u00e8cle. Aujourd&rsquo;hui c&rsquo;est un v\u00e9ritable conservatoire de demeures m\u00e9di\u00e9vales. Au XVIIe si\u00e8cle de superbes portails baroques encadrants des portes de bois aux d\u00e9cors riches et exub\u00e9rants, viennent embellir de belles demeures acquises par les repr\u00e9sentants des administrations juridiques. Au 19e si\u00e8cle un illustre cadurcien L\u00e9on Gambetta participe \u00e0 la fondation de la 3eme r\u00e9publique.
